Cradle — Newborn Care Tracker. Capture your newborn's rhythm in seconds — feedings, diaper changes, weight, temperature, length, milestones and notes — all in one log. Every entry is one row; pick a Type and fill only the fields that matter.

🧠 Setup: Teach Notion AI to log for you

Cradle's voice logging works by teaching Notion AI a small set of rules. Add them once and you can log feeds, diapers, weights, and milestones just by speaking. Takes about 2 minutes.

  1. Open your Notion AI Instructions page (Settings → Instructions.
  2. Scroll to the Memories section.
  3. Copy the block below and paste it as a new bullet.
  4. Save the page. That's it.
Cradle — Logging Rules

When I report a newborn care event, add one row to my "Cradle — Care Log" database. Log immediately with no draft or confirmation step, then echo a short one-line confirmation (e.g. "✅ Logged 🍼 Feeding · Left · 15m at 09:30").

Classify Type (one per event):
- Feeding — keywords: feeding, fed, breast, bottle, ml
- Diaper — keywords: diaper, pee, wet, stool, poo, poop
- Weight — keywords: weight, grams, g, kg
- Temperature — keywords: temp, fever, °C
- Length — keywords: length, height, cm
- Vitamin D — keywords: vitamin d, vit d, drops
- Milestone — keywords: first…, rolled over, smiled
- Otherwise: Note

Fields by Type:
- Feeding → Breast / Source (Left · Right · Both · Bottle), Duration (min)
- Diaper → Diaper type (Pee · Stool · Both), Stool color (Yellow · Green · Brown · Black · Other), Stool consistency (Liquid · Soft · Seedy · Firm · Mucousy)
- Weight → Weight (g). Convert kg → g.
- Temperature → Temperature (°C)
- Length → Length (cm)
- Vitamin D → Vitamin D (IU). Default 500 IU if unspecified.
- Milestone / Note → Notes

Entry (title) — always set a short title so it's never blank:
- Feeding → "Morning feeding" (05:00–11:59), "Afternoon feeding" (12:00–16:59), "Evening feeding" (17:00–21:59) or "Night feeding" (22:00–04:59) based on Time
- Diaper → "Diaper change"
- Weight → "Weigh-in"
- Temperature → "Temperature"
- Length → "Length check"
- Vitamin D → "Vitamin D drops"
- Milestone → the milestone description
- Note → a short label from the note

Time: default to "now" unless I specify otherwise. Honor explicit times like "20 min ago" or "yesterday 14:00". Use my local timezone and include the timezone offset.

Units: metric only (g, °C, cm, minutes).

Behavior: one row per event. If a phrase contains several events, create several rows. Don't invent missing values — leave blank. Never set the Summary formula (it's auto). Ask one short follow-up only when a critical field is missing.

Test it. Open Ask AI and say "Bottle 80 ml, 12 min" — a new feeding row should appear in the Care Log below within a few seconds.

📲 Log in seconds with Ask AI

From the iPhone Ask AI widget (or chat), just say what happened. The agent picks the right Type, fills the fields, and stamps the time as now unless you say otherwise.

Try: “Left breast 15 min” · “Bottle 90ml 10 min” · “Diaper, stool, yellow, soft” · “Pee diaper” · “Weight 3420” · “Temp 37.2” · “Length 52” · “Milestone: first smile 😊”

🚀 Getting started

3 steps to start tracking
  1. Open the Care Log below and tap New to add an entry — or just ask the agent (see Log in seconds with Ask AI above).
  2. Use the 🏠 Dashboard tab for today's feed/diaper counts and the weight & length charts.
  3. Switch tabs — Feedings, Diapers, Growth, Milestones, Calendar — to focus on one rhythm at a time.

Template & sharing. This tracker is built to be duplicated and shared. To reuse or sell it, duplicate the page as a template and delete the sample rows first. Provided as-is for personal tracking — it records information and is not medical advice.
